EXAMPLE- 

"In the 21st century, it is essential for TV shows to offer multiple meanings" - evaluate this claim with reference to Les Revenants" 

Argument - in order to reach a larger audience, but in particular a devoted cult audience. 
Introduction -What are the multiple meanings? Is it essential why? What is the contexts? key texts? 

Polysemic readings that this is a thriller/horror rather than a TV series. Widens the target audience.
In the titles, there are many moments where the audience questions why they chose to involve that shot in the titles, like the little boy standing in the middle of the road. Or when there are crosses in the field, lots can be read in to it. hermeneutic codes - not for definite but used to create a sense of mystery. Unconventional - complicated narrative. You can see the bus falling of the mountain, you can hear the screams but you are enable to physically see it - this intrigues the audience in and makes them want to watch more.

After the scene of the dead butterfly coming back to life and breaking the glass, you can use this to interpret what is about to happen with everyone that just died on the bus. The butterfly breaks "free" at the peak of crescendo with the music, this creates climax and drmatic effect for the audience. This is followed by an unexpected knock on the door, suggested that it was unexpected through proairetic codes the old mans facial expression and shock.   

Key Scene 

Establishing shot and the long shots of the bus establish an isolated and exotic setting for the secondary British and international audience. This emphasises the importance of les revenants adopting a polysemic narrative. It must means different things to audiences of different nationalities.

Introduction to charity advertising:  What is the purpose of the charity advert?  To inform and educate the audience and expanding the audiences knowledge on what the specific advert is representing.  How do they work?  By guilt-tripping the audience and making the audience feel sympathetic towards the charity campaign.  What mode of address do they take?  Typically charity campaigns are very direct and forceful, colour is typically dull and dramatic in order to allow the audience to sympathise. Adverts are very personal to share the responsibility within the advert.  What conventions do they demonstrate?  typically contain shocking images and titles.
